Mata was recommended by a landscape architect friend. Oscar and his assistant Melany came over in a matter of days, took measurements and talked to me about design, my goals, and possible materials. He had an estimate in a day. The price seemed fair, based on comparing it to an estimate I had gotten several years ago. Now, I had had trouble finding someone to do the work. One landscaper I found online looked at the job, promised an estimate, but never got back to me. Two others took the address, made an appointment, but didn’t show up to give an estimate. Oscar was true to his word. He got the job completed in a timely manner, which was was essential to get the house ready to rent. He and Melany cleared the debris, and his crew was onsite the next day. The work was done by the end of the the week, and it was done far beyond what I thought possible. It is tasteful. It is solid, with a good base of gravel and gray sand. Oscar took a yard that was a negative, and made it a positive, and something that will not require maintenance. We hired them for snow removal after a huge storm where eight inches of snow was covered in ice. They responded almost immediately when i sent a request, said they would check out the address and give a quote. They arrived in about an hour and got to work. The whole family hopped out, a small army descended, broke up the ice, cleared everything up nicely, and salted everything generously. Thanks!
